KNOWLEDGECOM 360°
In an effort to equip the underprivileged with better computer skills, KnowledgeCom Corporation has launched its Knowledgecom 360° Upskilling Fund. The fund will finance computer classes for the poor.

The company aims to reach out to at least 500 underprivileged people of all ages including the homeless, single mothers, the disabled and children from shelters through the Upskilling Fund.We are looking at a 4-session course, which will take about two months to complete, tailored to students’ needs and level of expertise.

For children, we are starting from the age of 12 up to 17. They will learn basic information and communication technology (ICT) skills and we hope to go further by collaborating with schools to make sure the students continue to hone their skills there, upon completion of our courses.

As for the adult group, which may include those who are retrenched, we will teach them how to apply ICT and entrepreneurship skills. This group will have a more intense training and higher certification.
